Lighting Services

Good lighting affects how a home or business feels and functions, from everyday visibility to energy use and security. Parka Electric provides lighting services for properties in Brooklyn, NY, covering new installations, upgrades, and repairs for indoor and outdoor fixtures alike.

What We Install

LED & Smart Lighting — energy-efficient LED fixtures and smart lighting controls for indoor, outdoor, and security lighting.
Smart Switches & Dimmers — modern switch and dimmer setups for convenient, energy-conscious control of any room.

Why Lighting Work Matters

Outdated or overloaded lighting circuits can strain a panel or create uneven power distribution throughout a property. Lighting upgrades are often paired with a look at the panel and wiring feeding those fixtures, to confirm everything is sized and rated correctly.

Circuit Breaker Panels & Load Centers — panel installation, upgrades, and replacements sized to safely handle modern power demands.
Code-Compliant Wire & Cable — properly rated wiring and cable for new construction, renovations, and whole-house rewiring.
Voltage & Circuit Testers — diagnostic testing equipment used to trace faults, overloads, and wiring issues quickly and safely.

When to Call

Consider a lighting review if fixtures flicker, dim unexpectedly, or if you're planning a renovation, adding outdoor or security lighting, or switching to smart controls. Lighting Services fits alongside Parka Electric's broader work in Outlets, Switches & Fixtures and Panels & Power, so any related electrical needs can be addressed at the same time.
